University of Wisconsin-Madison Crew Documentary
Filming, editing, creative direction
Tasked with creating a short documentary, I was given exclusive access to the University of Wisconsin-Madison rowing team as they prepared for their upcoming race against their Big Ten rival, Michigan. This video chronicles the build-up to the competition and the row-off itself. In it, I attempted to mix the sport's intensity, hilarity, and bond between crew members.
The Last Man Singing
Editing

In the summer of 2010, I interned with an experienced documentary filmmaker from Minneapolis, Melody Gilbert. Using video she shot during a tour of Europe, I put together this short film about a man and his produce. Under her tutelage I greatly enhanced my editing skills, picking up valuable technical expertise and camera techniques along the way.

Filming, editing, scripting, narration
I volunteered at a wildlife refuge during Spring Break 2011, caring for injured animals and lending a hand where needed. I put this video together to help promote the sanctuary and demonstrate my gratitude to those working there. You can also see it here on their website.
