Ansel Adams
Always been impressed how the photographs of Ansel Adams helped shift America's attitudes towards wilderness preservation. While famous for his landscapes, he also joined Dorothea Lange to document injustices of Japanese internment camps.
Berta Cáceres.
Berta Cáceres's rallied the Honduran people against the construction of the Agua Zarca Dam that would have cut off food and water for the Lenca communities. Among other environmental activists, she was assassinated in 2014 after years of death threats.

Ken Saro-Wiwa
Ken Saro-Wiwa led a non-violent campaign against oil extraction devastation of Ogoni land, with no benefit to the people. In 1994 Shell bribed witnesses to accuse him of murder, and he was executed by the military regime.
Saro-Wiwa was a lifelong writer with a series of popular comedy shows. "I know that I am a mortuary candidate. But I intend to head for that mortuary with my pipe smoking."
Originally started from a daily drawing done last year.
