Not only was this type anatomy poster a remake of an earlier project, it was also the most informative thing I had ever designed at the point I finished it. The idea is that both humans and type have anatomical terms that describe the parts of their “bodies”. I just traded human terms for typographical terms and went to town. The list includes items such as the Stem stroke, Spine, Counter, Ligature, and Terminal.
