Cowboy and The Elephant
This project began as an exorcise but eventually developed into an illustration for a potential short story. The idea was to depict the cowboy running for his life through a saloon with the elephant charging closely behind (as the story goes). After several sketches and fine-tuning the elephant himself became the background making for a great cover illustration that would get the viewers attention and stir curiosity into what the story was about.
