Design Foundations III & IV

Here are some of the projects I've completed in both Design Foundations classes. Many of the projects focused on exploring 3D and color. The classes were very difficult, and called for a lot of testing, problem solving, and strong concepts to back up a chosen design.
Foamcore: The project was to create a sculpture out of a piece of foam core. The sculpture had to all be one piece, meaning nothing was cut off, everything would unfold into a flat piece of foam core. I chose to make a Phoenix bird, and the first cut I made was a sort of bird shape to resemble a shadow of this Phoenix.
