I decided for this project- which the perimeters were to use appropriation, pastiche or vernacular to create a set of four posters. I decided to impose the idea of a trivia night at a college bar- so the poster was aimed at that audience, and I created an obnoxious set of posters. Each poster is based on a "kind" of drunk one may encounter: Angry drunk, sobbing drunk, happy drunk... and a naked drunk. Each posters "kind" of drunk corresponds with a certain group of people (ex: sports stars are angry drunks) and they also are designated a certain kind of glass to drink their alcohol with (Party cup for naked drunk). I enjoyed this project because it was so far out of my comfort zone.
