Woody nasce per riuscire ad unire in modo semplice ed intuitivo frutta e Nutella®.
La Nutella è "idrofoba": la presenza dell’acqua sulla superficie della frutta rende quasi impossibile spalmare, in modo tradizionale, la nutella su di essa. Ciò ha portato a trovare una soluzione alternativa: introdurre la Nutella dentro la frutta.
La linea semplice e “friendly“ di Woody, vuole suggerire all’utente un approccio intuitivo e giocoso: basta praticare dei piccoli fori sulla superficie della frutta con la testa dell'oggetto e poi riempirli di nutella con l’aiuto della sua coda. Con Woody in pochi istanti lo snack è pronto.
A livello di materiali di produzione, è stata scelta la coiniezione fra Polipropilene (PP) e TPE (elastomero termoplastico). Questa tecnologia propria della produzione dei comuni spazzolini da denti garantisce lavabilità ed igienicità, piacevolezza al tatto e variabilità dei colori.
Woody è stato progettato durante il workshop "Nutella & Fruit" con Ferrero Italia.

Woody is designed to make possibile, in a simple and intuitive way, the union of fruit and Nutella®.
Nutella is "hydrophobic": the presence of water on the fruit's surface makes it difficult to spread Nutella on it in a traditional way. The research of an alternative way led the designers to a new possibility: putting Nutella into fruit.With simple and friendly style, Woody aim to suggests to any user an intuitive and playful approach: with his head the user can dig little holes on the fruit's surface, then he can fill them with Nutella using Woody's tail. A few seconds and the snack is ready!

About materials and production: the choice fell on coinjection between Polypropylene (PP) and Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE). These tecnology is usually used for the production of toothbrush: it guarantees hygiene, washability, good feel to the touch, large range of colors.
