User Research:
Understand target users by conducting interviews and shadowing sessions to understand basic task-flows, also core User Roles required in the system. 

Market Research:
Study industry standards for the particular domain, and prepare case studies of competitor products, for quick reference and supporting data
Some of Applications studied for analysis were - Adonis, Intuit Quickbooks, SAP Fiori etc.
Information Architecture: 
Several iterations of information structure for the product were created, based on Product brief and understanding of Business offerings. Below is the latest information hierarchy and architecture diagram
Journey Maps:
Using journey maps to figure out user paths through the product system
Product Workflow & Data views:
Using pin and thread to make connections and depict a workflow, a variation of Card-sorting Method. This was an attempt to understand the information flow and different data views available on the product pages, this exercise helped information grouping and simplifying workflows
Simplified workflow diagram:
The workflow diagram simplification allowed to propose a new navigation system for the product, and a usable, easily understandable workflow for the users
Workbench building:
Workbench is a standardardisation concept used to build a page layout, and put relevant page elements and action to the Role and Scenario. 
Wireframe:
Wireframes are further built based on the workbench produced in previous step.
