A speaker concept folio designed around the emotion of empathy. A 12 week project for my Design Emotion Experience module during my 3rd year of Product Design Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.

 

Finished in polished chrome the Bluetooth speaker voices connotations of empathic feeling. The distorted reflection given from the speakers housing shows the user in a different perspective. The symmetrical form displays both bodies found within the emotion. The brand 'Spegel' derives from the Swedish word for 'mirror'.
