Watching a NOVA documentary about giant squids inspired this comic book style fabric. It made it to the Top 10 in Spoonflower's Fabric of the Week contest in spring 2011, spawned a bunch of coordinates, and got me featured as Artist of the Month on Urban Threads, where my squid design was available to anyone who wanted a grumpy but cute sea creature to embroider on their stuff.
