An exploration into the physical displacement of people within society. Using film photography and distortion of cut up negatives, I have created 'new' people from previously professional portraits. I am experimenting with contrast between light and dark and how the physical displacement of these works can still create something that looks human. I am going to further develop this by exploring the idea of sewing back into my images using red, black and white thread and connecting them together - symbolising the connections between humans and within humanity.
