I was asked to create range of packaging for Four Three Six t-shirts to be used for merchandising in retail spaces and also to send mail order items direct to customers. Restrictions were in place with the sizing of the packaging as it couldnt be larger than a large letter and it could only be a two colour print which had to be screenprinted. Apart from that, we were open to design it how we like and how we found it appropriate for the target audeince.

Four Three Six are a brand who create Wearable Releases and their ethos is very strong around the connection between music and art. The three designs that I have come up with use the same concept and visuals but use different colours so theres a relation between all three. The concept for my design is built upon the process they go through to create the wearable release, they start off by finding a music artisit, visualised by the black ring thats on the top layer of the design. The next stage of their process is creating a piece of artwork for the tshirt, represented in my design on the second layer with the colour. Finally the third stage is then applying this to the tshirt itself, I've simplified this into a texture on the bottom layer to represent the fabric. All of my outcomes were screenprinted in the different colours and then constructed into the boxes and sealed with a round clear sticker.
