From the high peaks of Himalayas, to the Thar Desert, the Bengal forests and the coastal south, India is incredible. We are, however, oblivious to our surroundings and damage it in small and big ways. Whether it is observing tourists throw away wrappers and plastic bags at Taj Mahal or watching someone spit up near the bus stop at home, my observations during my travels, have sensitized me to the need for change. I want to generate awareness so more individuals empathize with and protect the environment we live in.
Eventually, after a series of mind mapping and ideations, I came up with the idea of making comical books that in subtle ways put forward the repercussions of the actions we carry out, and may even channelize our actions for the betterment of the society at large.
