my life in 2012 - I am a visual person. Photography is a way for me to record the interesting and beautiful things in life. I want to record my year by taking photos everyday of 2012. I set this goal for many personal reasons. I want to grow as a photographer, I want to have a photo journal to look back on, and mainly to remember the year 2012. Remembering events in my life has become something that I refuse to take for granted. My grandma has Alzheimer’s Disease which is a form of dementia that gets worse over time. It affects her memory. I wanted to do this in ‘memory’ of her even though she is still living. She is my next door neighbor so I am sure she will appear in a few of my photos this year. I hope you decide to take this journey with me. It’s going to be an interesting year for me, full of change.
