Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal (Museum of Folk Arts)
Udaipur, Rajasthan, India
Udaipur was the third city on my Royal Rajasthan itinerary and the sixth day of sightseeing. I remember that I was very afraid of leaving a hotel room that day; I wasn't feeling strong and brave enough to complete a whole planned day. After visiting the City Palace in the morning, taking a little rest in Sahelion Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens), I thought the room for aesthetic pleasures was full and couldn't fit any more, but I was wrong. Not only the Museum of Folk Arts of Udaipur impressed me so much that I could have stayed there a few hours longer, but I was even able to attend later an extraordinary evening performance of folk dance and puppet show. I felt it was a special place to my soul,  perhaps most important  from all the museums I've visited during my trip. I had to take a picture there.
