Provocation + Prototype = Provotype
A Provotype works like a conversation piece, it is suggestive and formulates (new) questions rather than answering the ones already given. It is a prototype for a design that highlights parts of a problem, or situation to make it tangible and possible to discuss. It is also a provocateur asking open questions that have no given answer, to spark a conversation that may open for new thoughts as well as reveal opinions, hidden agendas and subconscious prejudice.

Nowadays, more people are migrating to other countries than ever before. In order to become integrated into society in their adopted countries, immigrants should try to put some effort to adapt to local customs and codes of behavior. Unfortunately nowadays women that wear Islamic head veil that cover their faces are being forced to give it up. For some the veil is a strong religious and political sign for others cultural and symbol of belonging. It is important to remember that societies are built on shared values but also one can not be forced to forget their traditions as well.
