This was an awesome experience to get involved in the community to be part of something as cool as TEDx Rexburg. Working students from BYU-Idaho my team and I set up base in the Romance Theater with an 8 camera set up. Lighting was a challenge as it always is with live productions, but we had both the Canon XA10 and the SonyFs100 which are well known for their lowlight capabilities.

 

Another challenge that we faced and that I am grateful we were prepared for was redundancy. While the speakers seemed reluctant to wear 2 microphones, our insistence saved our bacon because on the last speaker the batteries on both the microphones went out, but we were promptly able to give him a handheld mic.
