With its new model “Nissan Cube”, Nissan wanted to attract the attention of the young and
creative audience. I had to find a concept to fill eight pages of the magazine and receive the ap-
proval of Nissan for my sketches. My starting point was a reference to cubism, making the view
points of the car explode on hanging panels.

I was required to the detailed work of not only design but execution, making the cables, setting
up the studio and different elements of the shooting to be as visible as possible and to give a meaning of “installation” to the images.

The advert had very significant success. The rights to it were purchased and the adverts appeared in some 20 other magazines and on various billboards and exhibition stands. This was a “first” for the Wallpaper bespoke team.
