This was an open brief competition on a website Springleap. The brief was to re-design the Stimorol chewing gum wrappers with a retro theme.
I was inspired by 1950's American comic books and the playfulness of the style. I wanted it to be loose and naivé but more importantly I wanted the 'characters' to interact with the packaging not just a flat design pasted on a pretty pattern.
