Morse code reduces language down to a series of long and short pulse sounds or dits and dahs which is displayed typographically with a series of dots and dashes. This for a typographer is a revelation, no longer are the words and there meanings the first point of communication. The letterforms and typographic arrangement are the first and foremost communication channels. This book contains a range of different morse font families that can be used for a range of different purposes, some stray off the prescribed form for morse code whereas others are clearly recognisable as morse code. All have their own personality, a personality that comes through entirely from the shape of 3 glyphs.
