i have recently started exploring 35mm black and white photography. i have used and will continue to use a nikon fm2, this is a beautiful camera to work with if you are not aware of one.
i'm familiar with working with film, 35mm and 120mm, but have neglected it for the past several years, which i haven't forgiven myself for yet.
when producing these images i focus on using natural light and a natural expression from the sitter, honesty is key with my photography, saying this, the sitter is aware that they are having their photograph taken, i have not directed it in any verbal way, apart from stay still... :-)
my aim is to produce a series of equivocal black and white prints in this distinctive style.
i will continue to add to this when the photographs come around, and would really appreciate if i got some feedback to help guide the development.
thank you all again
