Sock Dolls
by Sarah Masood
When I was in school (around 12 years old) my late arts and crafts teacher taught me and my classmates how to make these sock dolls. Then; I didn't really take making them seriously and she would end up doing most of the work so I could take it home to show to my parents.

Years later, I found out from my sister of her death. Its likely if I had met her again she wouldn't have really recognized me (I was just one of the students) but she taught me a lot, so I started making them as a tribute to her. And realized just how many diferent characters can be made out of something that should not go to waste.

Mam Meher-Un-Nisa, if you can read this; you are awesome.

Materials:

Cotton
Socks (two if the doll is big and you want to give if clothes as well)
Thread
Needle

If I ever get a chance, (and if people ask me for it) I'll post a video or pics on how to make it here as well.
