Dean Phillips Pty Ltd Luminaires
Product design for Dean Phillips Architectural Lighting and design.
project: 150 Clarendon St
Feature lighting for a luxury apartment building in Melbourne, Australia.
My involvement included
Foyer Chandelier
Lounge Chandelier
A smaller single tier version was made for each of the two adjoining lounge areas. The single tier version has acrylic shards to both the outer side and inner side of the brass ring.
Apartment number & intercom wall light
Constructed from laser cut and folded mirror stainless steel. The back-lit acrylic apartment numbers glow with the help of LED lamps which also wash the wall in soft ambient light. The unit incorporates an intercom unit with video and audio feed.
Main foyer Intercom
Although not a light fitting, I was later commissioned to develop the buildings entry intercom unit. It was a water-jet cut brass face plate with machined button holes, acid etched lettering finished in an antique bronze wash. It incorporated an intercom unit, camera and number-pad.
