Inspiration: This is a long-term project for one of Echo, a vintage hat hand-maker live in New York City. She made a lot of different hats, each one with different special decoration and jewelry, such as hazelnut shell picked in Yale college ground, a gift pearl from an Iranish pedlar... each one with a special tory. Before the shooting I referred 17 century Dutch painting, designed shooting angle and the emotion I should express with each hat. I discussed lots of details with Mo Sha, a talented makeup artist I work with, and finally get this season done.
