The evaluation of the information graphics, as well as understanding visual perception of the data visualisation, are challengeable goals. Here is the first time investigation in an evaluation of the artistic information graphics. We present the usability testing framework, based on the eye-tracker techniques for it. 

We implemented the eye-tracking approach for testing the effectiveness of two types information graphics. 20 subjects were involved into the experiment. The eye-movements analysis with NASA task load index defined the most effective variant. The effectivity was measured as a duration of task solving, correctness of the answers, number of the gaze fixations and the clusters picture of the gaze fixations in arias of interest.  Also we suggested the implementation on our evaluation method.

 

For the eye movement detection was used SMI RED250 eye-tracker system.
