There seems to be a substantial gap between what people expect in a smartwatch and what many tech companies are creating. Companies like Samsung, Motorola, and Apple are seemingly trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist. My approach does not even try to make the concept about something that competes with any smart phone devices or even current smartwatchs, it's a timepiece with simple notifications, not a seasonal gadget.
The concept is based on a future stage of the OLED display technology with a more high definition digital display surface which becomes transparent when the 7.7V battery or screen idle shuts off, the digital surface would only be available if a specific task is handled or if a notification has arrived. The frame and glass is completely sealed with superhydrophobic coating, making the device completely usable in the shower or elsewhere other considerable mobile devices with immediate notifications would not be able to reach you.
