Spatial Interpretation

A day at the beach
 
This project I worked on in 2013 for a spatial studio paper at Massey University. I developed my idea through experimenting and trusting the design process. Growing up by the beach at Mount Maunganui really inspired my design direction for this project.
 
Below I have interpreted space and visually showed time through the use of a mirror and incorporating the natural seaside props of sand, seaweed and water into the photographs.
 
After getting 7 years bad luck for breaking several mirrors, it's worth it as you take a look at the final design outcome below.
