The challenge: Design a T-shirt representing a state of America. I chose California because it's a state I've wanted to visit for quite some time now. I have seen New York and some of New England a few years back and next on my list is the West coast. I wanted to pay homage to the skateboarding culture that was born in California in the 50's and 60's but do so with a modern design.
