The Flying Scotsman
The Challenge
The Flying Scotsman is an express passenger train that has been running up and down the UK respectively—since 1862. The challenge was to design a responsive website which featured a historic timeline, GPS journey tracker and enable end users to purchase a ticket–via a third party payment channel.
The end product included information architecture, user experience, and the responsive user interface. The website featured interactive functionality to show how the brand, the events, and the experience fit together–this is just as important as aesthetics. (worked on at The Drawing Room Creative).
