Artist/Poet Claudette Dean
A noted Bahamian artist, Claudette Dean's work is a part of the National Art Collection of The Bahamas. Claudette was granted an award for outstanding achievement and contributions in the realm of Fine Arts by The Commonwealth of the Bahamas, through The Bureau of Women’s Affairs on the island of Grand Bahama.
Born and educated in Canada, Claudette Dean's work is celebrated for its vibrant themes, honoring of the divine feminine, and reflections on the Oneness of all life. Her work has been exhibited in many group and solo shows, and can be found in many private and corporate collections in The Bahamas, The Caribbean, Canada and the USA.
In 2009 she began writing poetry as another means of expressing the Divine. In her own words, “My mission has become very clear to me and I am humbled and grateful to be able to share my vision of Oneness, through my work, at a time when the world is so ready to receive it.”
