The mossman tale is a common tale in south-east Saxony (Germany). It's about a tiny man (and his woman) that lives deep in the forest and helps goodhearted people (usually around christmas or in the winter-months). They wear moss as clothes and live in harmony with the nature. I imagined what they would to all around the year and I really liked the idea that they are tiny explorers.
