'홍대앞 거리미술전' is a street art festival held in every year at HongDae(around Hongik university), Korea.
It is an organized series of arts : installation art, film, street performance, mural, and art workshop.
21th theme was 'F5:Refresh'. It means 'Increasing of franchise brands at HongDae is not just a nagative phenomenon,
we should find the best way for coexistence of mass culture and indie culture.
Then we can refresh the unique culture of HongDae, like pressing F5 button.'
홍대앞 거리미술전은 설치미술, 영상, 거리공연, 벽화, 참여미술 다섯 부분으로 이루어진 역사깊은 거리 예술 축제입니다.
21회 기조인 'F5:새로고침'은 급증하는 프렌차이즈 브랜드들을 비판적인 시선으로만 볼 것이 아니라,
공존할 수 있는 바람직한 방향을 찾고, 키보드 F5 버튼을 누르듯이 홍대앞 문화를 '새로고침'(재조명)하자는 의미를 내포하고 있습니다.
