GMB, from the outset, requested Purple & Gold for their logo, so I saved that for the final stages of the process. Their previous purple & gold choices were a bit on the pastel side of the spectrum, as a result, I felt that a strong, bolder combination was required. Later, I felt softening the combo up through the use of a gradient would lighten the mood but at the same time convey a sense of  "going up the mountain." 

Another aspect of the project was to do a postcard inviting non-members to visit the new GMB building and services, so I wanted to push beyond that idea and came up with an event ticket, which is printed through GotPrint.

The elders at GMB Loved this idea and implemented BOTH the postcard and the event tickets. 

*NOTE: The event tickets have a tear-away stub and were numbered automatically by GotPrint. This helped GMB keep track of how many people were coming and still give out basic info about service times and their contact info.
