Etched Art Glass - Tibetan Buddha Design Centerpiece

Artistic photograph that occurred by chance while taking a few shots of the finished project.  It seemed to release a fiery spirit, which just seemed to compliment the design further.
Close up of the Little Tibetan Buddha etched on glass.  Both sides are etched with the design to add a further dimension.
The actual project was commissioned as a centerpiece to be used in a stained glass transom window.  The glass measures 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" x 1/4" thick with a stone finish beveled edge.  Each side is masked and the design is sandblastedin multiple stages depending on the depth of the carving.  Several symbols surround the Little Tibetan Buddha, including the Dharma wheel, knotwork, and various script.

The characters surround are as follows:  On the bottom is Om Mani Padme which translates as Hail to the Jewel in the Lotus and is of a mantra of compassion - held as a power of blessings of Chenrezig . The right shows the symbol of the Sphere of Visionary Appearance which leads to various other symbolic meanings. The last character on the left side shows the Om or Aum - a sacred sound encompassing the rise of the universe.
