Logo Inspiration
Brandmark
The Brandmark consists of two elements: the logo and the wordmark. Both elements are essential to create this recognizable signature that is used across the company's communication.
Colours & Tints
Graphic Device - Route 1: Gradients
Gradients, very simply put are colours changing and progressing into other colours. While Floating Gardens is a force driving change in Bahrain's environmental scene on many levels.
So, what better way to represent the brand than gradients?
Graphic Device - Route 2: Leaves Pattern
This pattern is inspired by Tropical Almond trees (Terminalia catappa). These trees are locally known as Loz trees. They are very common in Bahrain and can be found in many households. These leaves were selected because of their significance in Bahraini culture.
The pattern has two variations: coloured on white backgrounds, and white on primary colour backgrounds.
Supporting Graphics
The supporting graphics include borders, boxes and framing elements. These elements were selected to compliment the brand and keep its integrity. They allow for creativity in designing layouts and print materials while maintaining the brand essence.
Typography
The Floating Gardens typefaces are Alegreya and Alegreya Sans. Being clean, organic, and distinctive, they strengthen and represent the essence of the brand. Both typefaces are available in a variety of weights for flexibility and effective use.
