Initial sketch

Figuring out the background color.  Trying to make things look hot.

Pop.  Coloring in the lil guy, making sure to pick up on the background yellows/oranges/reds for highlights.

Adding some fire to separate him from the background. 

The most tedious part of the drawing: adding in the drums and cymbals.

FINISHED.  Added some smoke and ember effects to give it more energy, and did some color correction
