Every once or twice a month, MyFonts features their new most popular type designer on their website and I am commissioned a portrait of them!
As I was asked to work on this series, I looked for a style that could be flexible enough to catch the eye when placed small on MyFonts mainpage sidebar, yet show much more detail when featured full-size.
I found a combination of traditional graphite and my favorite inking pen, which gives a cartoony touch to these very realistic portraits.
