What is Coa?

Coa is a high end luxury chocolate.
The name itself derives from the original name of chocolate ‘Cacoa’, which was
changed at the beginning of the 15th century by Spanish explorers in South America.

Coa’s brand identity mixes the use of a clean simplistic colour palette and logo with heavily stylised hand drawn illustrations,both styles combined compliment and create a refreshing approach to the high end chocolate market.

Self written Brief.

To Create, establish and develop a unique alternative chocolate brand aimed towards the higher end of the confectionery market (such as Thorntons and Lindt).
The brand itself must be able to connect with its audience who are avid buyers of high end chocolates, these are consumers who care about ingredients, branding and packaging
A consumer that is ready to commit and invest into a brand ethos or lifestyle.

The social demographic for the brand is primarily middle to upper class men and women aged between 24- 45 who have the time to indulge into quality and luxury products and food (Starbucks, M&S).
This audience are most likely professionals in their fields of work and will have a basic understanding of history, culture and be able to appreciate as well as understand a brand.
