Gill Sans is a humanist sans serif typeface that was designed by Eric Gill in 1926 but later released by Monotype in 1928. Eric Gill was born in England so I thought it would be interesting to pay homage to his England roots by making the London Tube my concept for this project. The bold reds and blues that were used in the designs of this book are true to the London Tube and the content is a combination of information about the London Tube and the Gill Sans typeface.
