I recently engaged with the 21st century by buying an android phone. In my real life I am a teacher of photography and I have had many students thinking they could do the course using their phone. I used to scoff and proclaim loudly that you couldn't create decent photos with a phone. I have had a change of heart and embraced the technology. Using only freely available apps and in particular some of the Google web apps, I have begun a strange journey. It isn't the tool it's the user that counts.
