I was approached to dress my first wedding party early in 2011. I created an A-line calf length dupioni silk wedding gown featuring a radial ruffle detail asymmetrically applied to the bodice and skirt of the dress. The ap-plique was inspired by the geometric forms on her blue suede shoes. As the beautiful hair accessories she made for her wedding consisted of peacock themes, we carried the colour pallet into her wedding party. The maid of honor dress was a strapless emerald green dupioni silk and the bridesmaid wore a one shoulder navy blue dupioni silk dress.
