AA is an enormously fast growing city. It is not only center of Ethiopia, but African union. Slick Tech buildings growing fast in a dynamic development of city, where dominant part of citizens live below the poverty line. The challenge of the design was to solve the confrontation problem of spreading slams and contemporary high rises. The chaotic placement and striking intersections creates  difficulties for everyday life.

Taking into consideration all said above, I want to stress that in my design I wanted to make region related to present traditions, ethnic character, organic appearance. I appeal to words of Leonhard Schenk  in Designing cities: “Urban design can only succeed if residents can identify with their urban environment”. Thus, the aim was to create a contemporary residence that will represent dynamic development while respecting culture and traditions of populations, involving all the class levels of people.
