Licht&Form

This is an animated exhibiton poster I designed back in 2008/09 during my 3rd semester at Muthesius School of Fine Arts in Kiel.
It is made for a fictional exhibiton of Bauhaus artist László Moholy-Nagy.

I´m referring to an idea Moholy-Nagy called »Polykino« which describes a way of using several movie-projectors overlaying each others images.

As you can see in the video, it´s supposed to be projected on the inside of a glass building front.
During my work I also experimented with projections on uneven surfaces. In the last pictures you see some projections on the corner of a room. I liked the way, the image would distort in it´s perspective. Depending on the angle you look at it, the distortion would seem to change.

This was my first project I did using After Effects :)
