It was observed that paper tubes when interwoven provide excellent load bearing capacity. Same technology can be extended in the area of cheap, light weight, recyclable load carrying applications like handbags,backpacks, beds, seating arrangements, hammock etc. The only disadvantage being damage due towater, such structures can be integrated with materials like plastic, nylon,wood etc to create more variety of products. We believe we can extrapolate this idea into many domains to create interesting frugal products.
