The very first thing that popped in my head while doing the green background was Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. He's one of the cutest monsters on there especially during the scene when he place a huge contact lens on his single eye. I love the Monsters, Inc. movie franchise but it's ending during the first movie kinda left me hanging. I was like, "What nooow?" while sliding my palms on the sides of my face. I wish there would be a sequel of the first movie. I'm itching to know what's gonna happen when Boo sees Kitty again.

I used my trusty brushes and an Oslo paper for this project. I used apple green and a bit of dark green for the background. I often use black for the letters because it fits with almost any color and I think black really makes the letters stand out. Say hello to my Mike Wazowski phone case too!

I used the caption "He's my kind of monster." on Instagram because I find him really cute and inspiring. We've grown thinking that monsters are those blood-thirsty animals/people who destroy lives and get you in the dark. Mike Wazowski made me realize that monsters could be adorable, funny, and smart too.
