Websand - Marketing as a Process Website Animation
 
Brief:
During my time as an intern with Precept UK in Newcastle I was approached by the creative director to work alongside the design team. The brief was to create a short promotional explained video for a client called Websand, approx 30-40 seconds duration. This promotial video will explain what Websand is all about as a brand and the services they offer. The animation will consist of infographic style visuals that will be reinforced by a voiceover explaining the brand and services. 
 
Solution:
The Precept creative team and I drafted up several ideas and storyboards to pitch to the client, whilst having certain amendment intervals. Once the client was satisfied I gathered all the required assets and began the motion design and animating the content following the agreed storyboards and ensuring that it flowed with the provided voiceover. The motion design was intended to be fluid and clean without to much clutter, very minimilistic using the term less is more as the voiceover complimented and explained the visual content.

Marketing as a Process
Websand - Customer Segmentation Website Animation
 
Brief:
After completing the 'Marketing as a Process' short promotional video, Websand contacted Precept and asked if it were possible to work on another project featuring a video animation, as they were very impressed with the first video. Again the same principles applied from the first video it must be consistent, fluid and clean without to much clutter, very minimilistic using the term less is more, as the voiceover will compliment and explain the visual content, approx 1 minute duration. This video will be focusing on Customer Segmentation function within Websand that helps to create clever communication. Customer segmentation is the process of managing customers into easy-to-define groups or personas. Customer segmentation is usually applied based on customer profile, purchase history or lifetime customer value. In addition to managing the clients customer segmentation, Websand also controls email marketing, by linking marketing messages to the customers behaviour and giving accurate reports needed to understand the progression.
