Queen Honey Packaging

Queen Honey Packaging Design, Fall 2011
Queen Honey was a packaging design project for a Portfolio Development class in college. Students were given the opportunity to pick any product and design packaging for it. The name Queen Honey is a name I made up specifically for this project. The design of the logo was inspired by the honeycomb shape found in honey bee hives. In addition to the pattern, the stinger from the bee was also incorporated into the design. The honeycomb pattern was then expanded upon for the background texture of the labels on the honey jars and jar containers. The goal of the design was to make a simple, expensive looking brand of honey. The colors help to achieve this goal as well as tie in the flavor of the honey with the packaging.
