20 = TWO DECADES
Jubilee of the Art Faculty of the University of Pécs.
University of Pécs is the first University of Hungary, founded in 1367. The Art Faculty is a fairly new part, this year celebrating the 20 years jubilee. For this special year, they are using one jubilee logo. It has pronounced place on all communications, publications of the Faculty: events posters, e-mail and printed invitations, webpage, … It should work well with the original University crest, and should be a remarkable sign, expressig the Faculty’s artistic orientation.
The Art Faculty brings together very diverse artistic attitudes, that it would be impossible to find one common visual language to fit the whole. Design concept was to make something up to date, however something that may recall to the Bauhaus. Town Pécs had important connections with this art movement (due to L. Moholy-Nagy and M. Breuer).
