Ryszard Hunger. Retrospective Exhibition The exhibition at the City Art Gallery in Lodz consists of images from across the rich work of Professor Ryszard Hunger - from works including the tradition of informel, gesture painting and pop art , through the concept of the window.
A retrospective exhibition organized on the occasion of 50th anniversary of artistic activity Professor Ryszard Hunger also coincides with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Academy of Fine Arts, Strzemiński in Lodz , where the professor was Rector in 1987-1993. The earliest works in the exhibition come from the year 1972, the time that as the professor himself defines "was an attempt to oppose the program pursued in a school laboratory ". In addition, we will also see cycles: Picture, consisting of a dozen or so works created over more than a decade years, from 1990 until 2003 and Imago, which started in 2006 and still continues , depicting geometric shapes in complex systems.
