Totem is a stand floor Air conditioner design for a Chinese company "Midea".
The Air conditioner is designed for a small apartment of a Chinese City. The height is reduced with respect to the existing tower Air conditioners.
The Totem was a university project at the Design Studio 2 course at the Politecnico Di Milano. Year: 2014
As Air conditioner is a part of furniture in a Chinese house, therefore a Chinese pattern is incorporated in the design. The pattern is used on the Air filter door (for air holes) and water container (to see water level)
The air system is designed to have three different openings for air (Bottom, top and front) that can be controlled by the user for better air regulation in the room
